Below are examples of vehicles and equipment available through the STR program.

STR fees
All STR rentals include your unlimited drivers and no ownership or maintenance costs. Charges appear as a separate line item on your GSA monthly bill. Most rentals are tax exempt, and Government Administrative Rate Supplements, or GARS, do not apply in most states.
We add a fee to each request, based on the total award amount. In addition, starting in FY26, a 2% fee will apply to supplemental costs like tolls or damage. Fuel costs are fully passed through. See the table below for STR fees.
